Parkson CSR campaign with Teachforchina to help the young

In Arpil 21st, 2017, Parkson officially launched its CSR campaign "Heat for Energy", together with its partner Teachforchina, using the image of Parkson's brand ambassador Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei. The campaign aims at helping the young generation in the poor area of China to get better resources of education.



Such CSR campaign wishes to call for actions of Parkson consumers to help the students in Province Yunnan to get better sports education to study as well as to grow. During April 21st to May 1st, One purchase in Parkson contributes one yuan for donation to the program of Teachforchina. The donation will help the sports teachers in relevant areas to get better resources for education.

There are over 162 million children live in the less developed area in China. They are in short of education, only 5% of which could have the opportunities for further education in colleges. Hence Teachforchina was established in 2008, aiming to solve the problem with the support of educational resources. Over 1000 teachers participated in the program over the past 9 years to benefit over 3.3 million students.
